Suzanne Stewart, Austin painter, has joined the blogging world. It seems such a stretch, but I would like to share some insights I have gained. My painting experiences have formed a new and exciting path. Please share your comments with me. What will survive of us is love.

Sneaky
I love the reflective surface of cherries. These three seem to me to be sneaking out.
Hi Suzanne, I like this piece a lot. And yes my goodness they do look like they are sneaking out! Wonderful earthy, caramel foreground. he reflections are right on target.
Love the color and textures! The first day I met you in Carol's class you painted an exquisite value study of cherries---I hope I stopped you from wiping them!
HI there Suzanne!... and yes...Suzanne DOES indeed paint... beautifully I might add!
Enjoyed the high key and "in-your-face" myopic choice of subject matter! I love the bravura and painterly quality of your brushwork... making your paintings... portraits and site... a visual banquet!
Thanks for your visit and kind words at my site! Good to become connected! I'll be back for certain!
The color combination of these cherries is really beautiful and really quite unique. It's wonderful that you saw this warmth and conveyed it so well in paint.

ReplyDeleteMy cherries are always on the go, too! Where do you suppose they are off to? They certainly look glossy and perfectly shaped! Well done!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such an interesting composition. Love the colors in the background against the cherries. Has a nice abstract feel. Really nice Suzanne!
