Suzanne Stewart, Austin painter, has joined the blogging world. It seems such a stretch, but I would like to share some insights I have gained. My painting experiences have formed a new and exciting path. Please share your comments with me. What will survive of us is love. LISA, VERY QUICK POSE!
I want to include 'Lisa' because there are some things to commend the painting. For a very quickly painted piece, I liked the crossed ankles and hands. Lisa posed before a Thalo Blue door while we struggled with the stinging caterpillars! What a sight! Beautiful site at the Louisiana Life Gardens, Windrush.

Gorgeous and simple. Those quick paintings can be such gems!
ReplyDeleteI really like the abstract quality of this little painting—your vibrant orange marks against the thalo blue. I'm seeing the genius of painting so quickly: if you don't have time to mix flesh colors you can focus on color relationships and marks and the important things that go into making a painting.
