Suzanne Stewart, Austin painter, has joined the blogging world. It seems such a stretch, but I would like to share some insights I have gained. My painting experiences have formed a new and exciting path. Please share your comments with me. What will survive of us is love.

Le Bleu, Le Blanc et Le Rouge
This painting is dedicated to my mother, Meredith Miller. She made all the clothes for her five girls.
What a fine seamstress she was.

A wonderful tribute to your mother! I was the only child in my family, but still, my mother was the seamstress. Nothing she couldn't make with that sewing machine of hers! This brought back fond memories, thanks!
I love this! My mother also sometimes sewed for me but my grandmother was the real seamstress...most of my clothes as a young child were made by her. Thank you for commenting on my blog recently. I have been away for a while! As for how I pose those bendable models, well they are real pros, I must tell you. They are amazing and open to almost anything I ask!
Trois jolies et adorables petites robes... Deux artistes talentueuses... la maman et la fille !

Such a touching piece, Suzanne. I know your mother must have sewn a lot of love into all those seams! Thanks for visiting.
