"The fishermen know that the sea is dangerous and the storm terrible,
but they have never found these dangers sufficient reason for staying ashore."

Suzanne Stewart, Austin painter, has joined the blogging world. It seems such a stretch, but I would like to share some insights I have gained. My painting experiences have formed a new and exciting path. Please share your comments with me. What will survive of us is love. "Paintings have a life of their own that derives from the painter's soul." Vincent Van Gogh
Suzanne, such a lovely painting.....the yellows and blues contrast nicely, love the application of paint, so fresh. Your enjoyment comes through!
ReplyDeleteLove it, Suzanne!
ReplyDeleteSuzanne, these have an almost ethereal textural quality that is hard to explain. Makes me want to go there. This is a winner.

Oh this must be fabulous in real life at that size - glorious color and such a wonderful composition. I just love it! And I love the Van Gogh quote as well - both your painting and his words are very inspring!
ReplyDeleteYour Quotes and your Paintings are outstanding and wonderful, I love your happy and sophisticated color choices.
ReplyDeleteA stunning painting, Suzanne! The bold color of the foliage with the delicacy of the trunks takes my breath away!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed this lovely painting before. You really captured the glow. As I look I can almost feel them shimmering and trembling. I've read that Aspens are like bamboo---all the trees collectively are one organism.
